São Paulo - My Brazilian Posse
I met Heitor, Nando, Jaime, Eric and Marcelão in Malaga, Spain when I was there last year.
Left: Heitor and Bruna Right: Jaime and Kelly: They both plan on moving to Canada within the next three years.
Left: Eric (showing his teeth) and Nando (groping Eric's breasts). Right: Heitor and Bruna again
Left: Bralian food: mangioca, feijoada, fried bananas, and a bunch more that I can't make out
Left: American Shoes! Funny how some one thought that would be a smart marketing decision to name their store, American Shoes.
Right: Ryan says, "I've got American Shoes!"
Left: Henrique, James, Ryan, Luis, and Carla at a rock 'n bowl place in Shopping Internacional
Right: Huge monument in the centre of São Paulo
The same monument
My first Brazilian night club - Little Darlin'
Left: James sneaking up on Carla Right: Luis cutting me off!
Left: Emelie, Nando's Swedish girlfriend at the time. Nando on the right.
Right: Marcelão in front of the bandstand.
Left: Marcelão and Nando Right: Eric on the left
Some one ordered the infamous V8 made from a secret recipe (right). The band will stop playing midway through the song they are currently playing to play the V8 theme song. They will continue to play until you finish your drink (so I shot it back despite it not being a shot...I didn't know better, but that's how we drink in CANADA!), after which they'll continue with whatever song they were playing where ever they left off!
Waiter making with way through the crowd with another V8. That green thing on the cup is half an orange. For some reason, oranges are green in Brazil. They also call limes "limão" and lemons "lima." Although they have HUGE lemons in the Amazon, they don't really eat them in Brazil. I was told it was because they are too sour??!!
Right: Luis sez, "Veja Fofina! O garanhão sabe dançar!"
Left: Marcelão, "dois garotas pra mi, por favor!" Right: Carla and James: move over Luis!
Circle of friends.
